Pat and Jennifer Lynn reside in Sequim, Washington, with their three children, Kennedy, Emma, and James. Pat has been a Pastor and event speaker in Washington for over twenty years, working with public and private schools and community service organizations.
On July 4th, 2009, while leading a missions trip in the Dominican Republic, Pat was involved in an accident that left him totally paralyzed, and, aside from Jesus, it left him with no hope. Doctors told Pat that he could expect to remain paralyzed for life, but God spoke whispers of hope that said otherwise and began a journey of healing that needs to be shared in today’s broken world.
Pat's history of spinal cord injury and Jennifer's experience as a licensed mental health and addictions therapist have pointed to understanding these three truths: 1. Brokenness affects all of us. It may look different in you than in me, but we all have brokenness. 2. While God does heal some injuries and addictions in a moment, MOST things take time, effort, and a little help from our friends. The greatest part is this: 3. When God brings people through healing in a community setting, our healing becomes visible to others. That process draws others near to Him. It also allows others the blessing of taking part in the journey. That's why Jesus did these things out in the open.
Pat recently published his first book, a children’s book titled “You Need To Know” and is now serving as the founding Director of Kings Way Leadership College at Kings Way Church in Sequim, Washington. For more on the Lynn family checkout the Lynn Family Mission page.
